Barbara moved to New York City from Toronto, Canada in the mid 90's to explore new horizons. She is highly influenced by her environment and uses her art as a form of meditation. Working mostly in collage and assemblage she combines an Asian aesthetic with calligraphy to create one of a kind art pieces on paper.
Other pieces are influenced by her love of the "DADA" and the "CONSTRUCTIVISM" movement.
Barbara has studied at the Art Student League for the last 25 years.
